Lien Khuong Airport was built on February 24, 1961 and used to be the second largest international airport in South Vietnam at that time. Currently, this is the largest airport in the Central Highlands of Vietnam, located right next to National Highway 20 and far from Da Lat – Lam Dong Province, and is a famous resort center of the Central Highlands.

The new terminal of Lien Khuong airport has two floors, with a total area of 12,400 m², designed in the image of chrysanthemum flower, a typical flower of Lam Dong plateau. Currently the airport can allow short-range aircraft such as Fokker, ATR72, Airbus A320, Airbus A321.
