Lien Khuong Airport was built on February 24, 1961, and used to be the second largest international airport in South Vietnam at that time. Currently, this is the largest airport in the Central Highlands of Vietnam, located right next to National Highway 20 and far from Da Lat, Lam Dong Province, and is a famous resort center of the Central Highlands.
The new terminal of Lien Khuong airport has two floors, with a total area of 12,400 m², designed in the image of a chrysanthemum flower, a typical flower of the Lam Dong plateau. Currently, the airport can allow short-range aircraft such as Fokker, ATR72, Airbus A320, and Airbus A321.
Lien Khuong Airport is the only domestic airport in Dalat city. From the Lien Khuong airport, you can hire a private car with a driver to transfer to Dalat city center. It’s 35km and takes around 40- 50 minutes by a hired private car. At the moment.
