The Hell Cave

Visit Danang – the city of central Vietnam, you can’t miss the Marble Mountains. They are located Southern of Danang, on Lac Long Quan st, along My Khe beach. Marble Mountains are a cluster of five mountains, made out of limestone and marble. It’s filled with caves, temples, tunnels and peaks built into the slippery rock. One famous cave of those is The Hell Cave (Dong Am Phu). And we will visit it today.

All you need to prepare is a shoes to climbing, and a backpack content miniral water and food (if you visit all the mountains in Marble Moutains, The Hell Cave is 1 in 5 mountains).You can get there easily by taxi, motorbike or private car. Open hour is 08:00AM and close at 05:00PM. The price of ticket only The Hell Cave is 15.000 VND~0,8 usd. (Marble Mountains is also 0,8 usd too).

Before the entrance gate, the local people live around the Marble Mountains (Non Nuoc Village) are famed for their delicate carvings. The sculptures they sell are usually of many sizes, you will impression by many big stone carvings but if you just find some souvenirs or something for yourself here. The price of a bracelet is about 20.000 VND ~30.000 VND.

The Hell Cave is located in Thuy Mountain (Water) – The largest and most beautiful mountain for tourists visiting and sightseeing. As Buddhism, whoever has died will reincarnate, after cross in Nai Ha Bridge (The bridge over the hell river), you will come in to the ultra-mysterious and murky caves. Have two ways, one for the heaven and another for the hell.

The hell have many nooks and hallways goes deeply into the layers symbolize for levels of the hell called name is “the hell door”. Each door, you will see the reliefs, statues of ghost with many different penalties such as Phan Quy palace, Ming Vuong palace, Avici Hell, Giai Oan springs… Surely, you will get some scare in here.

But after come to “the hell”, you will see the way to the heaven. It’s the long strairs to the sky. To reach the heaven, you need to pass in the high way, slippery and get a little dangerous (I think it’s not for the children). And you also see many fairies on the way. The first impression is the sunshine after dark ways. It’s so beautiful. On the peak – the heaven, you will see the Buddhas, the statues of fairies, Jade Emperor, etc. Also, you can get an overview to Danang City and East Sea.

One day in Cuchi Tunnels

One in interesting destionations in Southern Vietnam is Cuchi Tunnels. It’s located near Saigon ( from Saigon Central is 70km). Here, you will comeback to Vietnam in 19th Centuries – in war time. You will see many weapons, bases, underground complex tunnels and get some feel of soldiers. All is great experiences that you should do.

First of all, i advices that you should visit CaoDai Holy See, stop in Vam Co Dong River and feel the quiet air of Vietnam village. If you can, you also should visit Cu Chi Wild Life Rescue Station where like an animals hospital.

Cuchi Tunnels is about 200 km long tunnels and ventilation systems. The price to visit here is about $5 usd. The tunnels are dug deep under ground with multiple levels and routes. It include the clinic, many rooms, kitchen, storage, office, subway system underground. It lead to a river or another escape.

And you also see many sort of traps. It’s different types and were made for the America Soliders who were on foot. One of those is sharp bamboo traps. It’s a hidden dug out pit with sharp bamboo sticks sticking up out of the ground. Another is gate trap, sharp will fall down if you open the door. And if you come here with children, don’t forget take care them because it’s so dangerous.

In guns area, it have many old guns that used in the war time. You can play shooting game in here with about 2,5 usd/60 min, 3000vnd/bullet. Have two gun types is AK and M16. This service is the most favorite in here.

It also have an area simulate East sea, and you take a shower after an explore trip. The price is $1usd/pax. Crazy House in Dalat

Dalat is one of most famous destinations in Vietnam. It’s not only famous by the beauty of nature sceneries (Lang Biang, Love Valley, Prenn waterfall, pine forest, tea hill, Dakia Lake, etc) but also by many special structures ( Bao Dai Palace, Chicken Church, Dalat station, Dalat pedagogical colleges, etc). One of those sightseeings have Crazy Housec – Hang Nga House. My friend told “It’s one of the most odd things i saw”. And I swear you’re also convided by it.

Crazy House is in the Central Highlands’ city of Dalat, in top three strangest hotels in the world and was designed by Vietnamese architect Dang Viet Nga. She says: “I want to change the vision about architecture. I want to design in a different view, strange and abundant”. And this house is apprearance. As the fairy tail, this hotel is like a enormous Banyan tree with uneven windows, and tunnel-shaped stairways.

The design is so bizarre that you can’t find anywhere in the worlds. The hollow “tree” extends in many directions, rising above to reach the sky of the amazing Dalat. Stairs and hallways throughout Crazy House are designed to resemble tunnels and caves which makes for an interesting walk through the house. See the norm, wild mushrooms and spider webs popping up on your way is very normally.

Besides, the house is really a great destination to stay with many rooms are named of animals such as the tiger room, the eagle room, the ant room, the kangaroo room, the bear room, honey moon room,etc. The decorations and handcrafted furniture also matching the theme.

Monkey Island in Nhatrang

One of most interesting things in Nhatrang city is Monkey Island. Why? Let’s explore it with me !

From Central Nhatrang City to Long Phu Port – where you can catch a boat and go to Monkey Island is about 28 km. This island is located on Hon Lao island, Nha Phu Bay. If you seft-driving, you just drive straight 1A Boulevard Northern, cross in Ru Ri Pass, and you will see the board “Nha Phu Bay”. You need to buy the boat ticket (about $5.5 usd per person for arrive this island and comeback). After15 minutes, you arrive Monkey Island.

The first impression is the wild island, and so amazing. This island contains more than 1200 monkeys which are two types: Macaca Rhérus and Macaca Fassicularit (I just read it on the catalogs and I don’t know what is these types). But these monkeys is so cute. They’re love playful, naughty and friendly too. You can buy bananas and feeding for them.

This island have a dog racing. Here, you can bet about $1.6 usd once time. And if you’re lucky, you will win with the ostrich eggs is carved which look so beautiful. You can visit some sceneries such as: Mermaid Lake, Tamda garden, 12 Animals Park, etc. And you can see monkey circus. These monkeys are very talent. They can ride unicycling, bike, cyclo, and acrobatic.

Monkey Island also have many different services such as: snorkeling, swimming, parachuting, ostrich riding, elephant riding, etc. I’m believe you will be convinced by the beauty of coral reef and marines. The clear seawater will make you feel like immersed in the sea. The price is about $7 usd for each snorkeling.

Beside that, it’s so awesome when you ride an ostrich with just $2.5 usd. All gives you the amazing experiences. Muine sand dunes tour

Come to Muine is not only come to the wild beaches with many leisures. With me, nothing excited me more than the discovery trip in sand dunes. What will you enjoy in Muine sand dunes? I would like to share my few experiences for you.

If you don’t want to face with the burning sensation, you should visit here in the sunrise (about 5AM or 6AM) or in the sunset ( start about 3 PM). There are two specials hot spots: Red Sand Dunes and White Sand Dunes. And they’re far apart ( about 25 km ). So, you can visit by jeep or motobike, but i think jeep is the best choice. The price is about $7 usd per person and $26 usd for per jeep. Miniral water is necessery.

Red sand dunes is the famous destination of Muine and have many travailer come here. The difference is the color of sands: russet and red. It’s so miracle. Try to walk in the sands with barefoots, it’s interesting feeling but just in the short time if you don’t want to burn your foot. Beside enjoy the heat of dessert, you also can hide in the shadow of the casuarina rows and drink a coconut.

Let’s take some jumping photos and save the moment of the sun above the sands. I used to be enchanted by this photos. After, you can rent a plastic board with the price only $1 usd and play sliding sand until you have no strength left. Don’t forget listen the instructor how to play safety and take a look your backpacks.

Leave Red sand dune, White sand dunes is really my favorite. It’s so wild and great with three large lake ( Gentleman Lake, Lady Lake and Mango Lake) beside endless sandly beaches.
